Questions & answers
Do I need a consultation before a treatment?
Yes. At the consultation I take your medical history, check for contraindications, assess your skin and facial anatomy and suggest a treatment plan. It is the basis of a safe, natural result.
Which products do you use?
Only certified products of verified origin from official distributors. I open the packaging in front of you, and you can check the product labelling.
Does it hurt?
Most treatments are done with a topical anaesthetic, so the discomfort is mild. For fillers I use products containing lidocaine and, where appropriate, cannulas.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
It depends on the treatment: fillers work straight away, collagen stimulators build up over 2-3 months. How long results last varies - I explain this at the consultation.
How should I prepare?
Avoid alcohol for 2-3 days and intense workouts for 24 hours before injections. If you take medication that affects blood clotting, be sure to mention it at the consultation.
