About the treatment
Fractional RF microneedling combines two actions: fine gold-plated microneedles enter the skin to a set depth and deliver bipolar radiofrequency energy at their tips. The heat targets the deeper layers - collagen contracts and new collagen production starts, while the skin surface stays almost intact.
The Gelios Microneedles RF device
- Needle depth is adjustable from 0.2 to 2 mm on the face and up to 3.5 mm on the body - matched to skin thickness in each area.
- Tips with 10, 25 and 64 needles plus a needle-free fractional tip - for delicate areas and larger zones.

What to expect
A topical anaesthetic is applied first. Afterwards there is redness and mild swelling that usually settle within a few days; SPF and gentle care are essential. Results build up gradually over 1-3 months. I decide the number of sessions and the interval at the consultation, depending on your goals.
