Seasonal treatments: what is best in autumn and what is fine in summer

The sun is the main factor in timing treatments. After some procedures the skin becomes more sensitive to UV light and the risk of pigmentation rises. So some treatments are best planned for the low-sun season, while others can be done all year round.

Best in autumn and winter

  • microneedling and post-acne work;
  • skin recovery courses after summer: biorevitalisation, polynucleotides;
  • collagen stimulation - the result builds up just in time for spring;
  • treatments combined with retinoids and acids that make the skin more sensitive.

Fine all year round

  • dermal fillers and blanching - with sun protection and no tanning in the first days;
  • PRP therapy;
  • scalp and hair treatments;
  • biorevitalisation - even helpful in spring and early summer to prepare the skin for the sun.

What matters in summer

  • SPF 30-50 every day, reapplied every 2-3 hours in the sun;
  • after injections - a few days without the beach, sunbeds and sauna;
  • lighter skincare textures and more hydration;
  • holiday season - plan treatments at least 2 weeks before a trip.

A plan for the year

The best results come not from a single treatment but from a thoughtful plan: recovery and stimulation in autumn, intensive courses in winter, sun preparation in spring, maintenance and protection in summer. I put this plan together at the consultation based on your skin and wishes.
